Education
Oliver West's Footnotes are ideal for learners who find traditional classroom 'linear-lexical' teaching methods challenging. Dyslexic learners often see dramatic breakthroughs in the development of their communication and learning skills as they begin to use visual strategies as an aid to understanding and internalising verbal and written cues.

Footnotes workshops are designed to be fun! Practical exercises translate language into drawn footnotes which are then used for preparation of written and spoken presentations, or as an aid for personal management tasks. Workshops can be adapted to suit the current curriculum requirements of a school or college without creating extra workloads for teachers and learners. They are designed to work with all students in a class, within the normal process of classroom teaching.

Oliver also aims to heighten awareness of dyslexic tendencies and behaviours, enabling learners, parents and teachers to overcome day to day frustrations in communication and learning. As well as classroom-based workshops, he offers practical and enjoyable INSET days for staff, introducing them to the Footnotes techniques.
